Big Government never looked so good as when Puck, Guardian, Shaman, Sasquatch, Northstar, Aurora and Snowbird were paraded out for the cameras and flew off into action defending citizens of the North from monsters and villains, but their greatest challenges were to come from within. Who’d have thought the Canadian military would have a whole stable full of super-beings ready to add to the roster? One after another, crazy characters would enter the mix, and our heroes’s heads kept spinning. Finally, the team struck out on their own, fed up with manipulative forces and conspiracies from within their government. But did they hang up the tights? No way! There’s no word for “quit” in Canadian! (And if there was, the members of Alpha Flight sure wouldn’t say it!)
